I think, in Aciman's words, the way to do it is to watch the film, and immediately after, read the book. That's what I did (seldom do I watch the movie before reading the book), but I wanted to give it a try.

So I did. And I fell in love. I fell in love the the characters, the family, the place, the story, the music. I then fell in love with the actors, the director and the script. I read the book and I just sunk deeper and deeper - no book has ever affected me the way that Aciman's book did.

I'm so glad and grateful I've watched this and that this film exists. Please watch it, share it and if you can, read the book.
