Review of Caligula (1979) by Lance M — 04 Aug 2007

I'll start off by sayng that Malcolm McDowell was really the only ggod thing in this movie. That aside, the only thing you could say about this movie is that its the most story involved and expensive porn movie ever made.

There was tons of unnecessary violence, gore and sex, and alot of them mixed together which is kinda disturbing. Its basically a shock movie where theyre trying to come up with the biggest shock factors they could think of.

It follows the life of the Roman Emperor Caligula. Thats about it but they turned it into a 2 and a half hour sex/gorefest. It was pretty boring but it was directed by Penthouse and Bob Guccione so whats the best you could expect.

You don't really need to see this.
