5 stars, or as I like to say, 5 Tiara's to the UNEDITED VERSION , not shown on here for some reason.
Caligula, I have the misfortune of sharing a Birthday, Aug.31st, with the Pervert Emperor/Caesar who reigned in the years 37 to 41 AD.This movie exaggerates his Incest with his sister Drewcilla, has elaborate Orgies, makes it Law that he may Sleep with his Senators Wives, Erects statues of his Penis all over Rome,marries a Prostitute, has mindless Wars on a Whim, Builds Elaborate Structures , declares himself God, & is known to be the most insane of all Royalty on record.Makes for some great Movie Making though,never a boring moment.The unedited Version with Nudity( way before it's time in non-porn,) was much more sensational & extravagant portrayal of the life, insanity,& possible Syphilis of this Over the Top Emperor & his Sister.This is a Film, & a Performance, that you will not forget.
