Peter O'Toole, Macolm McDowell, Helen Mirren and John Gielgud earn this movie a star. A no-holds barred, truly creepy almost disgusting portrayal of the decadence of Ancient Rome earns it a grudging second star.
Other than that, it was just pretty screwed up.
