Totally a piece of crap. It really is noting more than the most expensive porno film ever made. I didn't see how a blowjob acted as a visual metaphor for taking over Britain but whatever. Pretty stupid movie.

But brilliant camp. No one can ham up a movie better than Peter O'Toole and seeing him yell at his "fishies to be more convincing" in an overlong orgy scene was priceless comedy. It's a shitty movie and no one on the production actually did any research on Rome but its got great camp value.

Malcolm McDowell just acts crazy and thats always good for a show. Movie would act as a great drinking game in everyone takes a shot each time the movie acts out another perverse sexual fetish. You'd be out in 30 minutes.
