Review of California Suite (1978) by Matthew P — 26 Oct 2007
A very funny movie at times with a lot of bitchy bantering in the beginning by Jane Fonda; она Ñ?Ñ?ка. Fonda is much better in Barabarealla. Alan Alda is great as always, Richard Pryor is the perfect match-up with Pryor being my favorite, Michael Caine and Maggie Smith make a great couple who have problems with their private lives, both being bi-sexual, and then there is the un-ceasingly hilarious Walter Mathau, who plays an unfatihful Jewish man, whose brother "hooks" him up.
A wild film of marital insanity. Worth watching if not just for the star studded cast.
