Review of Calendar Girls (2003) by Gordon B — 30 Jun 2007
I get a bit miffed at people who dismiss this movie at what they've heard about the plot, or about their apparently crucial inability to pop a wood at a bunch of old ladies in boudoir shots. Calendar girls is a fantastic movie, along the same lines as Waking Ned Divine.
And frankly, if you can't enjoy a really sincere, heart warming film featuring saucy geriatrics from a across the pond you are no friend of mine, and I guess I'll just pass you in line at the next Van Wilder film.
