Review of Calendar Girls (2003) by Ernest C — 15 Sep 2010
This film follows a group of middle-aged women who attempt to raise money for charity by creating a nude calendar. Instead of being raunchy and dirty about it, this film delivers heart-warming smiles and laughs utilising the underappreciated Mirren and Walters.
The last third of the film is not as strong as the rest but given what has gone on before, it is not enough to totally spoil this charming film.
