Review of Calendar Girls (2003) by Ulla P — 01 Jul 2011

I'd say the first 23 minutes could have easily been played in fast forward. It dragged and made me dread what the movie was going to be. It was smoother sailing from there and knowing that it was a true story (at least based) sort of helps it along. Especially loved the restaurant confrontation but that would be the man-hater in me ;).

Worth watching but probably wouldn't watch twice.
