Review of Cake (2014) by Byron B — 22 Aug 2015

I really liked this, I don't know why the rating is so low (and I'm not an "ardent Aniston fan"). I like the fact that her grief makes her a bitch; it's realistic. The characters are pretty well-developed, they're well-acted, the the story is compelling, and the (occasional) humor is dark and sarcastic.

The humor and glimpses of hope keep it from being relentlessly depressing.
