Review of Cairo Time (2009) by Syrian S — 05 Feb 2011
Cairo through the eyes of a foreigner, a romantic getaway".
The feminine aspect was working fine, and the leads have their charm, so it can be watched for pure romance and location.
As for the social issues, the movie falls in every cliche in the book, does blatant mistakes about cultures and practices, and leaves the foreign viewer knowing nothing more than his original bias.
The cinematography alone makes this movie worth a view in the end.
