Another Woody Allen movie, frenetic dialogue (like Woody when he acted) by Jesse Eisenberg, a love triangle, unrequited love, all the themes presented on a backdrop of the Hollywood scene that Woody hates so much, with the promise of a wonderful life in Manhattan, which Woody loves.
Is this a semi-autobiographic story? Hmmm, the kid is from a Jewish family in Brooklyn....
