Remember the good old days? The clothes? The cars? The music??? Woody Allen does and entertains (these last few years) with indulgences of the nostalgic variety. Humor? Let's not let it distract from the bittersweet memory of what used to be, although it's still here, only parceled out like perhaps medication in an old folks home, sparingly.

But nostalgia is the main emphasis here, particularly old love, lost love. Nobody else is doing this nowadays and so, get it while it's hot.
