Review of Café de Flore (2011) by Arleen M — 27 Nov 2011
A film awash in music and emotion, exploring both at once. The film is more about mood and feeling than it is about story; and that's okay. Precious little actually happens, other than the slow fleshing out of a backstory; but the steady layering of characters, relationships and feelings still makes for a clear progress and building momentum.
Not for everyone, but I quite enjoyed it.
