Review of Cadillac Records (2008) by Christopher G — 04 Mar 2009
Most movies I see starring Adrien Brody don't disspoint. I've heard of Muddy Waters and only heard one or two songs from Chuck Berry. It was interesting to learn about their stories and some of the dialogue gave me some laughs. I believe Beyonce's protrayal of Etta James stood out to me the most. She came a long way from her role in Austin Powers.
The movie started a little slow but once it got its rhythm I was hooked. If you're a fan of movies about the history of African-American music, this is a must see film.
