Review of Cadillac Records (2008) by Will G — 23 Mar 2009
I really enjoyed this movie. Not a big spectacular hollywood film, but a film about history. I think the story was put together very well and supported by great acting. Jeffrey Wright was exceptional as Muddy Waters.
Beyonce totally sold her part as Etta James and the emotion she brings in the songs she sings really hits home. I definitely recommend this film to anyone interested in some true musical history. If only there were more films like this.
