Review of Cadillac Records (2008) by Alex B — 23 Mar 2009

Too unfocused as a musical biopic to approach the depth of "Ray" or "Walk the Line" (too many characters). Takes plenty of historical liberties as Hollywood is prone to do. But the music was, and continues to be, earth-shattering.

And the film definitely treats the music with the proper reverence and all the featured songs are performed and showcased well.
