Surprisingly great & doesn't hit a false note. I used to hate the sight of Beyonce trying to act, but she actually holds her own against titans like Jeffrey Wright & Adrien Brody. The rest of the cast is also quite brilliant & the look & sound of the show is perfect.

Director Darnell Martin knows her history & maybe that's why the film didn't get a wide release. The artists profiled here are STILL being ripped off to this day, but thankfully a movie like this shines a light while not shying away from the darkness. A must see & hear.
