Review of Cadillac Records (2008) by Istiaq H — 02 Jul 2009
A very beautiful but sad, sad story. Soothing soul music well crafted with remarkable story telling. Great acting by Adrien Body and the rest of the cast. For the new generation its a refreshing and as well enlightening to find out about the roots of such great works of art.
Surprising how they influenced a worldwide generation of musicians especially, Rolling Stones. Musicians of today take their inspiration from these greats, and these greats took their inspiration from the musicians of these movie.
Unbelievable that it was even the inspiration for the number 1 song of all time "Like a Rolling Stone" of the great Bob Dylan (Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest song of all time). The most surprising I must say was that "The Eric Clapton" bought Howlin Wolf's tombstone!
