Well it kind of started out like a made for tv biography. Sort of had the same feel as The James Dean Story with James Franco. But when Beyonce showed up with her portrayal of Etta James and Mos Def with his interpretation of Chuck Berry I felt the real potential of the film come to life.
Not great, but worth seeing for those performances.
