Painful. Not cute or entertaining in the least. Just predictable and terribly cheesy. People need to take Shawn Ashmore more seriously, I'm sure he would surprise everyone if he got the right role.
As for Hilary Duff, this role was pretty typical for her. Another disappointment from Disney.
