It's so early 80s that clearly it's more than a bit 70s, with two SNL stars trying way too hard to be funny together. Clearly, this is a film that is far more about the actors in it than about any characters, plot strands, or jokes.
One of those late 70s, early 80s "summer fun" movies with way too much going on in the story, unhealthy teen sexual experimentation, and plenty of goofy gaffes, this flick sports a brand of humor that's not really en vogue any more.
