It's not my favorite movie, but it is a hilarious comedy. It probably does have some unnecessary scenes, but the funny scenes are really worth it. Some highlights are the Gopher scenes and the Rodney Dangerfield scenes.
I first saw this just because I'm a fan of Chevy Chase, but I ended up liking it for much more than that. All in all, the cast is great, Harold Ramis is a great director, and the gopher animatronics are so terrible it's laugh-out-loud funny!
