Definitely not the best sports comedy, but not a bad effort for Ramis' first time directing, especially since it's the first time he & Murray teamed-up. It;s just a shame it wasn't funnier, considering Chase & Dangerfield are also in it - there's not really many laughs, and the gopher's pretty unnecessary - even though it's identical to Mel Gibson's The Beaver! Alright, but if you really want to watch golf, get Happy Gilmore!
