#Cactus #Flower is absolutely one of the best movies from the 60's i've ever seen. Goldie Hawn won her 1st & ONLY Academy Award for the role of Toni, (yup! betcha didn't know that! lol most people don't!) a lovesick young woman who seems to be tied into a relationship that's not so 'desirable' anymore.
Walter Matthau plays her beau, Julian Winston & does so in his classic 'dry humor' wit, flawlessly. Ingrid Bergman plays his stern & 'straight to the point' assistant who is sort of the 'glue' in this witty & yet romantic film.
As a big fan of older movies, I think you'll agree this one was a great way to end the year of 1969. I bought this one as well. (5 out of 5 stars Wed 8/8/2010 8pm Eastern).
