Review of Caché (2005) by Phil R — 01 May 2008
I'm afraid I found it somewhat tiresome. It started well, with a sense of mystery but then very little happens, all tension evaporates and the plot decides to go on holiday. Some might say that it's a clever ending leaving the audience with a sense of mystery; however I'm more inclined to believe that the screenwriter didn't know how to explain what was happening or come up with an ending that made sense, so he just didn't bother and went down the pub instead.
Oh and the director is an arse. Listen to him on the DVD extras.
