As Haneke said those movies that provoke and disturb you are those that you are going to remember and who will perhaps change something in you. Of course everyone can have a different theory about the ending nd about the whole story and this is the real charm of the movie.
I liked it much better than Funny Games, a couple of similar elements, yet much less brutality.
