Review of Caché (2005) by Gabriela E — 07 Sep 2008
Probably one of my favorite films of recent years. Beautifully performed, photographed, directed. The themes of memory, perception and guilt are all elegantly addressed. I love the ambivalence of the ending, that sense that things are not resolved.
That last scene in particular is a master stroke. Just don't blink during the last few minutes or you"ll miss the whole point.
