Review of Caché (2005) by Adam C — 22 Mar 2009
The first 20 minutes is pure "Guardian" readers heaven, the real time video tape of nothing happening for the first 10 mins, and then the dinner scene in the City library aka The Dining Room ????.
Loved the photgraphy though as the film progress, the script not always making sense like the guilt story is a bit soft, or slightly far fetching; perhaps its interwinded with a subliminal mid life crisis? but still seems inadequate to the core idea or essence of the film.
Explanation and ending is a bit, is that all? a bit underwhelming; and henceforth other than some nice arty shots a sincere lack of substance to this film.
