Review of Caché (2005) by Hessam M — 23 May 2010
Sometimes an ambiguous ending is quite pleasant. Sometimes it is not. Initially, I felt that the ending to Cache was a case of the latter. Upon later reflection, however, I came to find the ending inconsequential to the themes and supposed "messages" Haneke tries to convey -- I wonder if any fans' first reaction was all that positive.
Don't expect exceptional cinema I warn you, recommended nonetheless.
