Something very disturbing about this film. I don't mean disturbing as in it has disturbing imagery (even thought it does) but there's very creepy and frustrating about the entire film that left me with a very troubled feeling inside. Even though it isn't always clear or perceptible, Michael Haneke (director of the film) leaves it for the audience to decide what it is they are looking at, or what had exactly happened in it. I love it when movies leave the audiences with unanswered questions and gives something for them to think about, just like Black Swan one of my all time favorite films.

Some of the scenes may drag on for too long and may have some people leaving the room before it gets to the surprise climax, and some of the imagery presented isn't something everyone would ever want to see in their life, including myself. I myself was kind of distressed to see a live chicken getting its head chopped off, which I honestly think was a real life chicken. The film might also leave some viewers feeling confused and almost unsatisfied with how it ends, but I think that's sort of the point. It gives the audience something to think about for the next few days after watching and lets them come up with there own answers as to why or what just happened.

It's not a movie for everyone, but if your in the mood for something truly unique, creepy, disturbing, and thought provoking, I say give it a watch. Trust me, you will never see another film like it.
