A film that demands that you not only watch but bring your own intelligence to the watching in a very active way. This film reminds me somewhat of 2001: A Space Odyssey, and other reviewers have pointed out the stylistic similarities between Haneke's movies and those of Kubrik.
Both directors love to make their audiences work for the meaning of the film and make you think.
