Ignore the critics and avoid this unrelenting, pretentious, preachy, obvious bore. It takes a full 30 minutes for this film to even begin. What unravels during the next hour and a half is far from a "thriller" as you can possibly get.
The obious, preachy, letfy guilt inspired subtext and symbolism is the sort of thiing which will appeal to your sophomore social studies teacher, but not anyone else.
