Review of Caché (2005) by Oreste M — 09 May 2009
"Cache" started out with potential to be something truly great. However, as the film went on, it became less and less believable. Georges lies to Anne for no reason. Georges' son suspects his mother of cheating on his father.
Pretty much everything the characters do in this movie defies common sense. It is frustrating to watch because I keep yelling at the screen, "what are you, an idiot?!" the way I would in a bad horror movie when the killer is on the loose but one character says to the other, "let's split up.
we'll be safer that way." Just plain idiocy. It makes me want to start with the same premise but write the story the way it should have went, not this piece of crap.
