The original Cabin Fever isn't a masterpiece, but it was a movie I really loved. This movie follows the original very closely, but seems to fail at everything along the way. The setting here seems too nice, the characters are woefully stupid, and the decisions they make are even worse.
The movie isn't even consistent, with one part being a big deal because a character runs out of ammo, and in the very next scene fires it at full auto. This is an unnecessary remake that brought nothing new or better to the original.
