Review of Cabin Fever (2003) by Nathan P — 10 Jul 2011
Eli Roth is this generations John Carpenter. He capture the mood of the film expertly using humor and gore to create a visceral blood filled romp. Roth uses lighting to his advantage as the movie steadily gets darker in plot, so too does the lighting effects of the movie. The two best parts are the character of Bert (James DeBello) having a tourettes moment during the campfire story and the dvd special features.
On a side note YOU MUST watch the three short animated films: The Rotten Fruit.
