Review of Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever (2009) by Kevin R — 04 Oct 2012
She said she was 18. I always believe what children say.
A group of high school kids are heading to the prom with their hormones and mischievous behaviors. Their experience is heightened when their water supply is contaminated causing their body to mysteriously start rotting. Will anyone survive the outbreak?
"Does that mean you're gay? Did you tell your dad? Was he bummed?".
Ti West, director of The Roost, Trigger Man, The Innkeepers, a segment of V/H/S and an upcoming segment in ABCs of Death, delivers Cabin Fever 2. The storyline for this movie is a mix of horror and comedy and contains great gore but mediocre characters and script writing. The acting was below average and cast includes Michael Bowen, Noah Segan, Alexi Wasser, Rider Strong, and Marc Senter.
"Getting some hair pie with the man from Nantucket.".
Cabin Fever was a movie I came across while looking for horror pictures to DVR. I adored the original Cabin Fever and thought I'd give this a try. I did think the kill sequences were awesome but the plot, characters, and execution could have been better. This was entertaining but nothing special overall.
"Born to be alive.".
Grade: C+.
