Review of Cabin Boy (1994) by Jennifer A — 05 May 2006
I'm beginning the rather lengthy task of entering into the database every film I have seen, at least those I have a decent memory of. Some may have the briefest of reviews while many will just have a number. Those films that I consider personal favorites and/or those that have some historical signficance I will add later when I have time for more lengthy reviews.
City Hall.
Director: Harold Becker.
Stars: Al Pacino, John Cusack, Bridget Fonda, Martin Landau, Danny Aiello, David Paymer.
Synopsis: An A-rate cast can't overcome a middle-of-the-road script.
The Client.
Director: Joel Schumacher.
Stars: Susan Sarandon, Tommy Lee Jones, Mary-Louise Parker.
Synopsis: Fairly standard Hollywood legal drama with decent performances from it's stars.
Cool Runnings.
Director: Jon Turtlelaub.
Stars: John Candy and Doug E. Doug.
Synopsis: Comedy about the Jamaican bobsled team. Harmless but mostly forgettable.
Coneheads.
Director: Steve Barron.

Synopsis: Funny 5 minute SNL skits are rarely funny for 90 minutes.
Cabin Boy.
Director: Adam Resnick.

Synopsis: Chris Elliott should have stayed on Letterman.
