Review of Cabaret (1993) by Terrance E — 07 Nov 2007
Life may be a cabaret but the growing forces of Nazi Germany are coming ever closer in this brilliant, evocative musical. Liza Minnelli gives her best performance as the vivacious Sally Bowles whilst Joel Grey exudes half-menace, half-playfulness as the MC.
Enjoyable (but vastly different to the stage show).
