Review of Cabaret (1981) by Ana C — 20 Dec 2009
Strong, disturbing and filled with amazing musical numbers which are a delight to our eyes, Cabaret is a movie with a powerful message. Everything is beautiful in here: the girls, the orchestra... life's really a cabaret, we better enjoy it before it's too late.
Liza Minnelli is a brilliant actress, she plays such an iconic character, such a childish and after all, fragile creature! Michael York is at his best! Joel Grey can be extremely scary at times - for me, MC represents the devil.
Mr. Grey is a fantastic actor. This movie is quite intriguing and it will engage you for a while. Don't miss it!
