Review of Cabaret (1981) by X. T — 02 Jul 2008
I liked the musical scores and how they comment of the story. One interlude in which a young Nazi member starts to sing and all the bystanders all started to follow him came off as quite surreal. I don't really see what all the homo/transvestite stuff has to do with 30's Nazi's.
The bisexual love triangle was kind contrived. Liza Minnelli's antics got old after awhile.
