Review of Cabaret (1981) by Timothy L — 18 Mar 2009
This wonderful film starring Liza Minnelli has tremendous emotional range. It can make viewers laugh, cry, and smile all in the span of just a few minutes. Minnelli and York both give outstanding performances as two halves of a dysfunctional whole.
This film clearly complements the work of Minnelli's mother, Judy Garland, in A Star is Born.
