Review of Cabaret (1972) by Ashley T — 04 Sep 2010
The songs alternate between incredibly awesome ("Maybe This Time" and the title number) and incredibly annoying ("Two Ladies" and "Money Money"). The story that plays out between the songs (and I can't really find a relationship between the two) is rather slow.
It really shouldn't have come as a surprise that Glee's version of "Maybe This Time," featuring the show's strongest singers Lea Michele and guest star Kristin Chenoweth, is better than Liza's.
