Review of Cabaret (1972) by Danny O — 02 Nov 2007
I find that the phrase this actor was born for this role to be way over used, however, in Cabaret Liza was born to play Sally Bowels. Nothing before this mattered and nothing after this matters (with the exception of Arthur but that wasn't her doing).
As we all know a stunning performance does not a good movie make. But a Stunnig lead performance, with brilliant direction, and an outrageous supporting cast does.
