Review of Cabaret (1972) by Rudy L — 11 Aug 2009
I don't know what this movie has that makes me wanting to see it again and again, but I'm not complaining. This is my personal favorite musical. I sit waiting for 'Money' to get here and I lose it.
Using the same songwriter and lyricist (Kander and Ebb), a "dancing" director (Fosse), and the same energetic and lively Emcee from the stage production (Grey), makes this movie grander on a much higher scale.
Fans of film and musicals are likely to take this film to heart and enjoy it many, many times.
