An absolute gem. I loved the romantic aspect of the plot; Saoirse Ronan's performance shines. The climax hits you kinda quick, but it doesn't keep the end from being satisfying. One of the highlights is the score - never overwhelming, always there to add the right touch to a scene.
As much as I liked it, though, I also think it wouldn't please many of my friends; it doesn't strike me as crowd-friendly like some other films do.
