Review of Bye Bye Love (1995) by Bill H — 16 Oct 2007
Diiiivorrrrrceeeee (like the Neil Young song).
Divorced dudes takin' time to manage their kids in a weekend proving to be a revelation. Hey, Larry King says it's a terrific film. I don't... it's just... "okay." There's a few funny moments, some all-too-real moments, an early Jack Black role, but it's all neatly packaged. The only real golden moments this movie has is between Randy Quaid and Janeane Garofalo... hell, that part of the movie could have been a better movie on its own. But I guess this is supposed to be a family film.
