This quiet story of pain and wild behavior in the pursuit of healing it or running from it.

With in the first third of it Randolph obvious pain at his helplessness. His portrayal was real and moving. I felt nothing dragged at all. It was the kind of pacing that this type of film, this type of character study, needs. You need to soak up the atmosphere that lends itself to the story.

Vanessa's vulnerability was beautifully portrayed. Even in her worst moments, and those who have seen it will understand, her pain and ability, maybe even desire, to wound is more a wail for help and sad. For both of them. Even in moments which we have all seen in the trailer, her pain and anguish is never overdone. It's not melodramatic.
