Review of By the Sea (2015) by Cam S — 23 Nov 2015
This is a film about a couple dealing with grief set in Europe by the sea. If the audience can behind how the film is made, then many can perhaps relate to the plot. The film is beautifully directed and the performances are great, as these two usually are.
And there's some surprising subtle humor. My most negative critique is that it is a bit long and drawn out; I think it would be better if it were a bit shorter. But, go see it and appreciate it for what it is.
