Review of Butterfly on a Wheel (2007) by Casey B — 24 Feb 2008
Cure >> Methodical pace and dark tone, this violent mystery gets more and more interesting as it does baffling.
Eastern Promises >> Cronenberg is the man! Intense, brutal scenes in rare supply contrast the compelling drama about the Russian mob in London.
No Country for Old Men >> One of the Coen Brothers best, if not their best. Subtle humour, great story, and a very memorable villian make for an amazing film about keeping true to your own moral code.
1408 >> Nice look but tries too hard to be shocking, disturbing, or scary.
General movie-goers will probably like it, but experienced film buffs won't be impressed..
Shattered >> One of those surprise twist endings that was pulled out of someone's ass. The movie is watchable but very forgettable.
Feels like a made for tv movie..
